Govt. of the Punjab Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department vide letter No. SO(AMI)21-415/2016 dated 5 July, 2017 has allowed the recruitment of Retired Professors in various specialties on contract basis. In this context, applications are invited for appointments against the following vacant posts of Professors in Services Institute of Medical Sciences / Services Hospital, Lahore.
1. Community Medicine
2. Forensic Medicine & Toxicology
3. Peads Surgery
4. Aneasthesia
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Only retired Professor BS-20 or above upto the maximum age of 65 years can apply. Both Male/Female candidates having domicile of Province of the Punjab are eligible to apply. Appointment will be on contract basis for a maximum period of three years in one go and would automatically expire either upon the completion of term of three years or attaining the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier. Posts are Services Institute of Medical Sciences/ Services Hospital, Lahore specific/ nontransferable. Please attach CV, attested copies of domicile, valid national ID card, 02 latest photographs and all academics certificates/ degrees (from matric onwards) in case of 'O' & 'A' Level qualifications equivalent certificate is compulsory. Copy of experience certificates. Furnish attested copies of MBBS degree, attempt certificates of all Professionals (showing total/ obtained marks) and Post-graduate degree. Attested Copy of Valid PMC/PM&DC Registration Certificate showing all medical degrees / postgraduate qualifications therein and copy of experience certificate issued by the PMC/PM&DC determining the eligibility for the post applied. Foreign qualifications/experience must be recognized by PMC/PM&DC. Incomplete applications and applications received after closing date will not be entertained in any case. Applicants must present original documents at the time of interview. Persons already in Govt. Service should apply through proper channel. Authority reserves the right to cancel, increase or decrease the number of posts at any level according to requirement. The selection will be made on merit. Date and place of interview will be communicated after short listing. No TA/DA will be admissible. Candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before applying that they fulfill all the requirements of the rules relating to the post.
