The Faithful Dog

Dogs are friendly and loyal animals.

کتے دوستانہ اور وفادار جانور ہیں.

They are playful and love human companionship.

وہ شوخ/ چنچل اور انسانوں کی صحبت کو بہت پسند کرتے ہیں۔

Pet dogs are always there for us, day and night, sharing in every

پالتو کتے ہمیشہ دن رات ہرگھڑی میں ناشتے سے لیکر شام تک ساتھ ہوتے ہیں۔

Dogs wag their tail to welcome their masters.

کتے ان کے مالکوں کا استقبال اپنی دم ہلا کر کرتے ہیں

They can share both our indoor and many of our local outdoor activities , but that ' s not all

وہ اندر اور باہر دونوں سرگرمیوں میں ساتھ دیتے ہے لیکن صرف یہی نہیں

Dogs also play a big part in family life even when the family isn't at home.

کتے گھر یلوں زندگی میں بڑا رول ادا کرتے ہیں کہ جب خاندان والے گھر پر نہ ہو۔

Once there was of farmer, who lived in a small village with his wife, baby and a pet dog.

ایک دفع ایک کسان اپنی بیوی بچے اور پالتو کتے کے ساتھ ایک چھوٹےسے گاؤں میں رہتا تھا۔

The farmer’s wife got sick and passed away

کسان کی بیوی پیار ہوگی اور مرگئی۔

Now the farmer had no one to take care of the baby and the house except his faithful dog.

اب کسان کے بچے کا وفادار کتے کے علاوہ کوئی خیال رکھنے والا نہیں تھا۔

The dog was very clever and loyal.

کتابہت ہوشیار اور وفادار تھا۔

The dog protected the house and the baby in the farmer's absence.

کتا کسان کی غیرموجودگی میں گھر اور بچے کی حفاظت کرتا۔

One evening, the farmer returned home from his farm.

ایک شام کسان فارم گھر واپس آیا۔

He had left his baby asleep in the cradle

اس نے اپنے بچے کو پنگوڑے میں سوتا ہوا چھوڑا تھا۔

His faithful dog was watching over the baby

اس کا وفادار کتا بچے کو دیکھ رہا تھے

 When the farmer reached the home, he saw that the baby's cradle was turned upside down and there was blood everywhere.

جب کسان گھر پہنچا اس نے دیکھا کہ بچے کا پنگوڑا الٹا ہوگیا ہے اور ہر جگہ خون ہے۔

The baby was nowhere to be seen.

بچہ کہیں بھی دکھائی نہیں دے رہا تھا

Then he saw that his dog was lying quietly with blood on his .mouth and body

پھر اس نے دیکھا کہ اس کے کتے کے منہ اور جسم پر خون ہے اور وہ خاموشی سے لیٹا ہوا ہے

The farmer thought that the dog had killed his baby.

کسان نےسوچا کہ کتے نے اس کے بچے کو ماراہے۔

He was very sad and angry.

وہ بہت غم زدہ اور غصہ ہوا۔

The farmer was so angry that he picked up his axe and hit the dog.

کسان بہت غصہ تھا اس نے اپنی کلہاڑی اٹھائی اور کے پردار کیا

The poor dog cried out in pain and died

بیچارا کتادرد سے چلایا اور مر گیا۔

The farmer then rushed to the toppled cradle and lifted it.

اس کے بعد کسان جلدی سے الٹے ہوے پنگھوڑے کی طرف برھا اور اسے اٹھایا

His little son was safe and sleeping peacefully under the cradle.

اسکا چھوٹا بیٹا محفونا تھا اور پنگھوڑے میں آرام سے سورہا تھا۔

A big ugly wolf lay dead near the cradle.

ایک بڑا گندہ بھیڑیا پنگھوڑے کے قریب مراپڑاتھا۔

The farmer was shocked.

کسان حیران ہو گیا تھا.

He was happy that his baby was safe, and then he realized that his dog had fought and killed the wolf to save the baby.

وہ خوش ہوا کہ اسکا بچہ محفوظ ہے اسے احساس ہوا کہ کتے نے بچے کو بچانے بچانے کے لیے بھٹریے سے جنگ کی اور اسے مار دیا۔

He realized his mistake.

اسے اپنی غلطی کا احساس ہوا۔

He had killed his faithful dog without thinking and investigating the situation.

اس نے اپنے وفاداری کتے کے بغیر صورت حال کو سوچنے اور ان کی تحقیقات کے بغیر قتل کیا تھا

His dog had fought the wolf and save his baby. The farmer had killed his faithful dog without thinking.

اگر ایک کام جب شروع ہوجاتا ہے

Television is a wonderful invention.

ٹیلی ویژن ایک حیرت انگیز ایجاد ہے۔

It was invented by Mr. Baird.

اس کو مسٹر بیرڈنے ایجاد کیا۔

He was a famous English scientist.

وہ ایک مشہور انگریز سائنسدان تھا۔

Many scientists worked day and night

بہت سے سائنسدانوں نے دن رات محنت کی۔

They worked for many years.

انہوں نے کئی سال کام کیا۔

They wanted to increase the range of sight۔

وہ بصارت کی حد میں اضاف کرنا چاہتے تھے۔ .

Mr. Baird was a lucky scientist.

Education for Women

عورتوں کے لے تعلیم

The population of women is about equal to the population of men in the world.

دنیا میں خواتین کی آبادی تقریبا مردوں کی آبادی کے برابر ہے۔

Many people think that education is not necessary for women, but they are wrong.

کئی لوگوں کا خیال ہے کہ عورتوں کیلئے تعلیم ضروری نہیں ہے، لیکن وہ غلط ہیں۔

"Education for all" is the motto of the modern world.

تعلیم سب کیلئے جد بد د نیا کا نعرہ ہے۔

Knowledge is power.

علم طاقت ہے۔

This power is necessary for men as well as women.

طاقت آدمیوں اور ساتھ ساتھ عورتوں کیلئے ضروری ہے۔

Women have the right to get education.

تعلیم حاصل کرنا عورتوں کا حق ہے۔

Our Holy prophet (SAW) said, "Seeking of knowledge is obligatory for the duty of every Muslim man and woman".

پاک نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ”علم حاصل کرنا ہر مسلمان مرد اور عورت پر فرض ہے۔

It is said that if you educate a man, you educate a single person.

یہ کہا جاتا ہے کہ اگر تم ایک آدمی کو تعلیم دیتے ہو تو تم ایک واحد تک تعلیم دیتے ہو۔

But if you educate a single woman, you educate a whole family.

لیکن اگرتم ایک واحد عورت کو تعلیم دیتے ہو تو تم پورے سارے کتبےکو تعلیم دیتے ہو۔

There are many advantages of education for a woman.

عورتوں کیلئے تعلیم کے کئی فائدے ہیں۔

She can be a better mother.

وہ ایک بہتر ماں بن سکتی ہے

She can look after her children well.

وہ اپنے بچوں کی اچھی نگہداشت کرسکتی ہے۔

She can be a better wife. She can help her husband.

وہ ایک اچھی بیوی ہوسکتی ہے۔ وہ اپنے شوہر کی مددکرسکتی ہے۔

Taking a Tour

سیر پر جانا

Our examination ended last month.

ہمارا امتحان گزشته یا ختم ہوا۔

We were very tired after the examination and wanted some refreshment.

ہم امتحان کے بعد بہت تھکے ہوئے تھے اور کچھ تازگی چاہتے تھے.

My friends and I decided to take a tour to Takht-i-Bhai.

میں اور میرے دوستوں نے تخت بھائی کی سیر کا فیصلہ کیا۔

Takht-i-Bhai is about fifteen kilometers to the North of Mardan city.

تخت بھائی مردان شہر سے تقریبا پندرہ کلومیٹر شمال کی جانب ہے۔

I requested my older brother to accompany us.

میں نے بڑے بھائی کو کہا کہ ہمارے ساتھ جاؤ۔

We booked seats in a flying coach

ہم نے فلائنگ کوچ میں نشستیں مختص کروائیں۔

We reached from Peshawar to Mardan in an hour.

ہم پشاور سے مردان ایک گھنٹے میں پہنچے۔

Form there, we sat in a public bus to go to Takht-i-Bhai.

وہاں سے ہم ایک عام بس میں تخت بھائی جانے کیلئے بھیٹھے۔

There was a great hustle and bustle of passengers in the bus.

بس میں مسافروں کی ایک بہت بڑا رش ( دھکم پھیل تھی ) تھا.

Some passengers were standing inside the bus while others were sitting on the roof of the bus along with the bags and bundles.

کچھ مسافر بس کے اندر کھڑے تھے جبکہ دوسروں کے علاوہ بیگ اور بنڈل کے ساتھ بس کی چھت پر بیٹھے ہوئے تھے

We felt suffocation in the bus

ہم نے بس میں سانس لینے میں دشواری محسوس کی

Although we felt uneasy but reached our destination in fifty minutes.

اگرچہ ہم بے چینی محسوس کررہے تھے لیکن پچاس منٹ میں ہماری منزل پر پہنچ گئے.

Takht - i - Bhai is plain and fertile area.

تخت بھائی تخت بھائی ایک میدان اور زرخیز علاقہ ہے۔

Sugarcane, wheat, maize and tobacco are its main crops.

گنا، گندم مکئی اور تمبا کو اس کی بڑی فضلیں ہیں۔

."It is famous for delicious Chapli Kababs.

یہ اپنے لذیز چپلی کباب کیلئے مشہور ہے۔

We were hungry, therefore, we entered a hotel and ate "Chapli Kababs" to our fill.

ہم بھوکے تھے اس لئے ہم ہوٹل میں داخل ہوئے اور بیٹ کر کے چپلی کباب کھائے۔

.There is a small hill in Takht – Bhai.

تخت بھائی میں ایک چھوٹی پہاڑی ہے۔

Its altitude is about one thousand feet from the ground level.

یہ زمین کی سے تقریبا ایک ہزار فٹ بلند ہے۔

On its sides, there are relics of the Budhist period.

اس کے اطراف میں بدھ مت دور کے کھنڈرات ہیں۔

We wanted to see these old ruins.

ہم یہ کھنڈرات دیکھنا چاہتے تھے۔

We climbed up the hill and visited the monastery and their empty cells.

ہم پہاڑی پر اوپر چڑھ گئے اور خانقاہ اور ان کے خالی کمرے ( کھولے ) دیکھے۔

These ruins are more than three thousand years old.

یہ کھنڈرات تین ہزار سال سے زیادہ پرانے ہیں۔

The monks lived in the monastery..

راہب ان خانقاہوں میں رہتے تھے۔

There duty was to spread the teachings of Gautma Budh.

ان کا کام گوتم بدھ کے تعلیمات کو پھیلانا تھا۔

The monks preached to the people to lead a simple and peaceful life.

راہب لوگوں کو سادہ اور پرسکون زندگی گزارنے کی تبلیغ کرتے تھے۔

They advised every one to avoid greed.

وہ ہر ایک کولالچ سے بچنے کی نصیحت کرتے تھے۔

They preached them that greed is the root cause of all evils.

وہ انہیں تبلیغ کرتے تھے کہ لالچ ان تمام برائیوں کی جڑ ہے۔

we sat in their empty cells for a long time

ہم دیر تک ان کے خالی کروں میں بیٹھے رہے۔

we felt peace and serenity there

ہم نے وہاں امن اور روحانی سکون میں کیا۔

Later on, we came down the hill and took tea in a hotel.

بعدازاں اہم پہاڑی سےنیچے اترے اور ایک ہوٹل میں چاۓ پی ۔

Then we booked seats in a coaster bus and came back to Peshawar.

 پھر ہم نےایک کوسٹرمیں سیٹیں بک کروائیں اور واپس پشاور آئےٌ

This tour refreshed us and added much to our knowledge of geography

اس سیرنے میں تازہ دم کردیا اور ہمارے جغرافیائی اور تاریخی علم میں اضاف کیا۔
