How we Insert The Bullets And Numbering in Word 2007

This tutorial guide you that how you insert the Bullets and numbering in MS Word. Bullets and numbering is way in which you make a list using some special little symbol or Number . Number may be 1,2,3 or A, B , C etc. you can create the list automatically for example If you need a bulleted list, just type an asterisk (*) and then press space key. The asterisk automatically turns into a bullet and your list is started. After writing some thing and pressing enter key next Bullets appear on next line. If you want to create number list automatically then type the number one and a period (1.) and the press space key.

Second way is insert Bullets or numbering which you want from Office Ribbon for this purpose:

  • Click On Office ribbon And Select Home Menu Tab then select Bullets or numbering from Paragraph Group.
  • If you want to insert Bullets then Click on Bullets and select the Bullets which you want.
  • If you want to insert numbering Then Click on The little arrow on numbering option and select The type of Number for example 1,2,3 or A,B,C or I, II , II in roman number.

inserting Bullets:

  1. Click on Home menu Tab form Office ribbon.
  2. Select Bullets form Paragraph group and click on little arrow on Bullets option. (As shown in Image Below)

  4. Select The Bullets which you want to insert.
  5. Write The Text and press enter key. Next bullet is automatically Appear on next line.
  6. When you complete you list then press Double Enter key to stop bullets.

Numbering:

  1. Click on Home menu Tab form Office ribbon.
  2. Select Numbering form Paragraph group and click on little arrow on Numbering option. (As shown in Image Below)
