In adobe photo shop we can create our own pattern and save these pattern for the feature use. There are two ways of making the pattern first extraction form an image and other one is customize you own pattern. In this tutorials we discus how we Create Custom patterns.
First we discus that what is patterns:
in Adobe Photoshop when we use Paint Bucket, Pattern Stamp, Healing Brush, and Patch tools then there is an option to use pattern. Now question is that what is pattern.
Answer is a pattern is an piece of image that is repeated, or tiled, when used to fill a layer or selection. In Photoshop there is a collection of preset patterns, which are displayed in pop-up palettes in the options bar and we fill our layer with these patterns.
Create a new document in adobe Photoshop ( Click on File New ) select the height and width of Your image (in my case 600 x 300 pixels and 72 dpi and fill it with color black).
Now Select the Custom Shape Tool, from shape tools (or click on tool box and Press U).
Now from option bar click on shape ( if not loaded click on arrow on right side and select Ornaments).
Select shape as seen on image below. ( you can use any other shape also but we use this one)
Select white color and create shape.
Now click on Layer menu and select Rasterize and shape ( Rasterize command to transform non-bitmapped images into pixel based data that can be merged with other layers and fully edited with all of Photoshop's pixel-based tools).
Now i am taking a part of my shape as you can see in the image below ( select the aria which you can use and cut this piece angle the angle by pressing (CTRL + T) key
Now create duplicate layer and again change the direction with CTRL + T merge both layers with shapes into one with Ctrl+E.
Now again make another copy and again repeat these step after making 4 copy my shape is complete as shown in image below.
Change layer mode to Overlay and reduce Opacity to 40%.
Go to Layer > Layer Style > Outer Glow and apply settings below.
Go to Edit > Define Pattern to save this image as pattern, give pattern a name and close current document without saving.
