Terms & Conditions
1. Quotas: Open merit quota as well as special quotas for women, minority candidates, and disabled persons will be observed as per rules.
2. Age Limit:
General Age Limit: 18 to 30 years + 05 years special age relaxation for Balochistan candidates as per Establishment Division notification dated 22.10.2026 (Total maximum upper age limit: 35 years calculated as of the closing date of advertisement).
Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age limit relaxed by 15 years or equal to the number of years served in the Pakistan Armed Forces, whichever is less.
Government Servants & Contract Employees: Candidates who have completed at least 2 years of continuous regular government service as of the closing date will get 10 years age relaxation (provided the maximum age limit does not exceed 55 years).
Disabled Candidates: Granted 10 years of age relaxation.
In-Service Death Quota: Children of employees who died during service will receive 05 years of age relaxation.
Note: If a candidate qualifies for age relaxation under more than one category above, relaxation will be granted in only one category.
3. Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must undergo a detailed medical examination by the Divisional Medical Officer (DMO), Pakistan Railways, Quetta, and submit a medical fitness report.
4. Local / Domicile Requirement: Candidates must possess a valid Local/Domicile certificate of Balochistan province.
5. Security Clearance: Final selection will be subject to character/record verification by the concerned police department.
6. Training: Successful candidates must complete required training/courses at Walton Academy, Lahore, or designated railway training centers.
7. Transferability: Selected candidates can be posted anywhere within the territorial jurisdiction of Quetta Division.
8. TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in test/interview.
9. Incomplete Applications: Incomplete or applications received without required documents will be rejected outright.
10. False Information: Providing fake/forged documents or incorrect details will lead to immediate cancellation of contract/candidature and legal action.

Attested copies of the following documents must be attached with the application form:
Educational certificates/degrees (Primary / Middle / Matric / Intermediate / Graduation as required for the post).
Degree / Diploma for relevant technical posts.
Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
Local / Domicile Certificate of Balochistan.
Character Certificate.
Four (04) recent passport-size photographs with blue background.
