Institute of Applied Sciences & Technology (A Public Sector Degree Awarding Institute)
The Institute is looking for potential faculty at the level of Assistant Professor (Tenure Track or Teaching Track) in the following disciplines as per the eligibility mentioned against each:
1. Mathematics (2)
2. Statistics (1)
3. English (2)
Other Requirements a. The candidates applying for a TTS position must have contributed to at least 01 research article published in an impact factor (ISI indexed) journal of the relevant field. The maximum age limit in all cases is 40 years. Preference will be given to candidates with the following additional qualifications:
Experience in developing and teaching BS/MS level courses in the relevant subject(s) to Engineering students. ii. Have supervised BS/MS level theses. Have previously won research grant(s) as PI.
Terms & Conditions
1. The selected candidate shall be governed by the Statutes and Regulations of the Institute. 2. The candidate having PhD as terminal qualification will be hired on Tenure Track System (TTS) while those without having a PhD degree shall be hired through the Teaching Track System developed by the Institute. 3. The starting level salary will be Rs.280,000/- (two hundred and eighty thousand) per month. A person who has either been dismissed from service or convicted by any court of law is not eligible. 5. Any person who desires to apply for more than one position shall submit separate applications for every post. 6. Every applicant shall deposit an application processing fee of Pak Rs. 1000/ in the Account No. 2330-3164019975 (national) or US$10.00 in IBAN Account No. PK76NBPA2330003164019975 (international). The title for both the accounts is "Misc. Receipts Account of PAF-IAST". Only online applications through the Institute's website (www.paf-iast.edu.pk) shall be entertained. The last date to submit application, complete in all respect, is Monday 28th January 2022. Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for an interview with no TA/DA admissible.
