Unsharp Mask Filter In Adobe Photoshop

The unsharp Mask Filter in Adobe Photoshop is used for sharpening your images. when we take photo or scan image then some time our image require some adjustment like that some type of sharping. Then we use Unsharp Mask in Photoshop.


How we fix The Problem

Lets take a picture this picture i found on Google.

In first step you must convert your picture in Lab color Mode.

For this purpose select Image Image- Then Click on Mode and then Select Lab Color

In this mode picture divides its channels (color info) into Lightness, a, and b

Now select Channel Tab from Layer Plate.

Select Lightness Channel (Click on Lightness) from Channel List.

After this You will notice the image goes to a grayscale.

Now apply Unshrop Mask for this purpose

Go to Filter and select Sharpen and Then Unsharp Mask.

Now set The properties of Unsharp Mask.

My suggestion are Amount:

20% to 220% (image varies)

Radius: 1.0 to 1.2 pixels

Threshold: 0


You must change the value and see the different result.
