Photoshop Slice Tool

In adobe Photoshop the Slice tool allows you to divide an image into smaller sections which fit together like a single image. This tools is vary help full for web designer to create different design layout in pieces and display to gather in shape of webpage like menu , header.

In this tutorial we store a picture in shape of different slice.

Take this picture :

The slice tool is located in the top section of the Photoshop Toolbox.

You can chose Slice (which creates the slices) and Slice Select (which enables you to select and modify existing slices).

We chose slice tool in the toolbox.

Click and drag over the area you wish to make into a slice.

Release the mouse button Photoshop automatically creates the necessary number of slices, with the active slice highlighted.

Using the slice select tool, you can move and resize slices by dragging inside a slice, or by dragging the handles.

After creating slices you save these slices :

Click on file menu and select save for web.

Make necessary changes and click on save button.

Give the name.

Select save type " Images only ".

Must select All slices in Slice option.

Adobe Photoshop save you files on target location in folder images.
