This tutorial show you that how we create macros and how we use these macros when we need. Below we describe a complete process:
In macro basically we define a series of action and when we Run the macro then Excel perform these action one by one.
First Step is:
Click the View tab on the Ribbon
Click on Macros command.
Click Record Macro
Enter a name of the macro. This name must be unique name. Remember the space not allowed.
Enter a Shortcut Key. for example After the CTRL you can insert any alphabetic from key board. like Z.
Enter a Description. This is optional you can skip this.
After this press Enter Key or click on Ok button.
The process of recording will be start.
Now perform some steps. for example do some formatting option like Increase the font size, bold The text , Change the color.
When you done then Stop Recording by Clicking on Macros Tab on Office ribbon and then Stop Recording option.
Second Step:
Running a Macro
When you successfully create new macro then Run this macro. The following Steps Show the brief description of this process:
Because our macro related with Formatting option so first of all we select the text which we to format.
Click Macros On View menu Tab
Click on View Macros.
Choose the Macro and click Run button.
You can also use short cut Key which is define at the timing of creation of macro. in our case CTRL+Z
